Planning your renovation
We start with a free site survey to understand the condition of the property and what you want to achieve. We then provide a clear written quote and a schedule of works, so you know what will happen and when.
Older homes often reveal surprises once work begins, such as old wiring, damp or hidden structural issues. We will always discuss anything unexpected with you before carrying out extra work. Where a renovation includes removing walls, we arrange structural calculations and building control approval.
We look after your home while we work, protecting floors and furniture and keeping the site safe. Waste is recycled wherever possible, as we are registered with the Environment Agency.

We are a family run business established in 1988, with around 85% of work coming from recommendation and some customers who have used us for over 20 years. We are members of the NHBC and the Guild of Master Craftsmen, CITB trained and SafeContractor accredited.

Can you renovate a period property?+
Yes. We have experience restoring period homes, including a Georgian property in Islington. We take care to respect original features while bringing the home up to modern standards.
Can we live in the house during a refurbishment?+
It depends on the scale of the work. For smaller projects, most families stay at home. For full renovations involving rewiring, new heating and several rooms at once, moving out for part of the work can make it faster.
